About the Owner:

T.Alexander Clothier was born from a single question: “Have you ever considered doing custom menswear?”

For founder Terrance Meade, that moment unlocked a passion built on years of retail menswear experience and a natural gift for styling. With over a decade of working with celebrities, executives, and Fortune 500 leaders, Terrance developed a clear philosophy: great style should be intentional, functional, and memorable.

To him, style is more than fabric—it’s a way to command attention, build confidence, and leave a lasting impression. That belief fuels everything he does—from creating custom garments to providing image consulting and wardrobe management services that empower clients to align their outer appearance with their inner drive. Every consultation is tailored and immersive, blending fabric education with personal elements like whiskey, cigars, and conversation.

Inspired by icons like Ralph Lauren, Yves Saint Laurent, and Denzel Washington, Terrance caters to the Discerning Gentleman—a man who shows up with purpose, substance, and style, even if he’s not the loudest in the room.

Outside of the brand, Terrance is a proud father and outdoor enthusiast who lives by two personal mottos:
